OUR SCHOOL

Anakie Primay School is a community of learners who support and encourage each other to reach their personal goals and be the best they can be.

Our school values are…have RESPECT…be RESPONSIBLE…and aim for EXCELLENCE!

At Anakie Primary School we RESPECT others, ourselves, our school and the environment around us.  We show RESPONSIBILITY with everything we do and make safe and sensible choices.  We aim for EXCELLENCE in our learning, trying hard at all times, to be the best person we can be!

We are a small rural school with a current enrolment of 62 students, allocated into three multi-age classrooms of a P/1 classroom, 2/3/4 classroom and a 5-6 classroom.

Our school is committed to providing high quality instruction within a supportive teaching and learning environment where students are known academically, socially and emotionally as unique individuals by all staff members.  Our programs are designed to cater for the needs of all students within these multi-age classrooms and as such all students have their own literacy and numeracy goals, and with teacher support, are able to track their learning using goal trackers and data walls.

While having all the benefits of a small school, the students at Anakie Primary School belong to the Moorabool Valley Association. Together with other small rural schools, students have access to sporting opportunities and a camping program.  The school also has strong community partnerships with Parks Victoria, the Anakie Community House and the Anakie Community Garden. There is a productive relationship between parents and staff, with high levels of parent participation on school council, as school helpers and in the form of a vibrant Parents and Friends Association.  We are proud to be active and vital members of our local community.

The school uniform (with or without school logo) is compulsory at Anakie P.S.   If your child is out of uniform please use our green “Out of Uniform” form explaining the reason and returning it to the classroom teacher.

We urge parents to clearly label all clothing worn to school. In the case of an item of clothing being lost it can be returned to the right owner.

The uniform consists of:
